Jack slept for...

6 hours straight last night...that's the longest yet! I was sick all day yesterday with the stomach bug and Larry came home from work early, to take care of Jack, so I could get some rest. He swaddled Jack up and laid him down at 9:00 pm and he didn't wake up until 3:00 am...we couldn't believe it! I guess daddy has the magic touch!

Music Lover

Jack went to his first wedding on Saturday. The weather made it a little difficult to get there but once we were there and it stopped raining we had a really good time! It was a long and eventful day but Jack did really well! He loved the music at the reception and would get mad when it stopped playing. One time, I left the reception to change his diaper and he started crying but as soon as I walked back into the reception he stopped. The next day, we put our ipod and speakers in Jack's room....he loves it and it makes him very relaxed! When we got home from the wedding, I got Jack ready for bed and laid him on his lounger while I made him a bottle. When I walked back over to feed him, he was sound a sleep...he was so tired!

Happy Easter!

This is Jack's first Easter. Even though he can't hunt for eggs, I still got him an Easter basket. We tried to take pictures with a real bunny but the bunny kept going to the bathroom during the photo shoot. We did get a picture of Jack with the Easter Bunny at the mall and it turned out really cute! I can't wait until next Easter when Jack is able to hunt for eggs! I hope everyone has a very Happy Easter!

1 Month Old

Jack is 1 month old today! I can't believe its been a whole month...he has grown so much. He's starting to make little noises (grunts and gurgles) and I've even seen him laugh a few times. He loves to kick his legs and swing his arms. Jack sleeps pretty good during the night. He still wakes up every 3 - 4 hours to eat but goes right back to sleep. He's starting to look more and more like his daddy but with red hair! Here are a few updated pictures of Jack.

WubbaNub

The WubbaNub is the best invention EVER! Jack loves sucking on a pacifier but gets very upset when it falls out of his mouth. Larry and I run over and put it back in his mouth 100 times a day. My aunt gave us a WubbaNub as a gift and we just used it for the first time tonight...I wish we would have used it 3 weeks ago! The WubbaNub was invented by a family who was having the same problem so they decided to permanently attach a pacifier to a plush animal. Jack holds on to the plush animal and the pacifier stays in his mouth...he loves it and so do we!!

Mommy's First Night Out

A few of us girls went to the Britney Spears concert on Monday night. This was my first night out since Jack's arrival and we had a blast! The Pussy Cat Dolls opened up for Britney and they were awesome, and Britney was amazing! It was nice to get out of the house and have a fun night with the girls. We went all out....we got a limo and had awesome seats (12 rows up from the floor). I missed Jack so much but knew he was having a great time hanging out with his daddy. When I got home, Jack was sleeping in his crib, in his room, and daddy made a pallet on the floor and was using the Boppy as a pillow. It was so cute!! I wish I would have taken a picture but I didn't want to wake them.

I forgot my camera so I had to use my cell phone. I'll post more pictures of the concert when I get them from the girls.
