Poor Jack!

On the days I go into work, Larry gets Jack dressed and takes him to The Shipleys. I usually leave an outfit out for Larry to put on him but this morning I was running late and didn't have time. Larry sent me a picture of Jack this morning. Poor Jack, he's got the cutest look on his face but has no idea what his Daddy has done. He is not allowed to pick out Jack's clothes ever again!

I Love My Dad

Larry and Jack had a great first Father's Day together! We let Daddy sleep in yesterday, which he loves to do but doesn't get to do very often. As he was waking up, Jack was waking up from his mid-morning nap. He went in to get him and was so happy and surprised to see the shirt Jack was wearing....it made his day!

Giggles

Jack has started to giggle when we do certain things, like playing patty cake with Mimi or when we kiss and tickle his neck. Here's a video of him giggling....we love it so much it makes us giggle!

Two Peas in a Pod!

A lot of people have told us that Jack looks like Larry's "Mini Me", but with my hair color. I think he's definitely going to have Larry's personality. He makes the funniest faces, always on the move (kicking his legs nonstop) and loves to relax in front of the TV. Here's a picture of my two boys watching baseball....look how they're both sitting (this was not staged...I swear). I'm going to have my hands full!

Fun in the Sun!

We took Jack to the pool again this weekend. We can't believe how much he loves the water and loves being outside! We put him on a float in the pool and he laid there for a good hour (don't worry, we were next to him the whole time he was on the float).

No More Swaddle

This is the first week that we haven't swaddled Jack when he sleeps and he loves being free and stretching out! For the first two months, Jack loved being swaddled...that was the only way he would sleep. In the past few weeks, he has been trying to get out and trying to get his hands to his mouth. My plan was to swaddle him as long as I could but I felt bad because he couldn't get to his fingers. The first two nights, he woke up more then usual but now he's back on track and waking up once in the night. This morning he woke up and started sucking on his fingers and went right back to sleep for another hour...mommy was very happy to get that extra hour of sleep!
