Puppy Love

Jack loves dogs!! We were outside the other day and Polly, the neighborhood dog came over. We don't know who she belongs too but she's still a puppy and is very sweet! My neighbor and us have kind of taken her in and gave her the name Polly. As soon as Jack saw her, he started laughing. We put him on the ground and she was licking and jumping up at him. He didn't even care and giggled even more!! It was so cute we had to get it on video and share it with everyone.

River Baby

Every summer my family goes on a trip together and this year we decided to go to New Braunfels. We stayed in a house on the river and it was a lot of fun!! Jack loved the water and enjoyed spending a lot of time outside. He also had many firsts over the weekend....eating watermelon, gnawing on a pickle and visiting Gruene Hall. The pickle was by far his favorite! While my mom and I were down at the water, Jack was hanging out with Larry and my Dad. They gave him a pickle and he loved it! He had a very tight grip on it and they couldn't get it out of his hand. We had a great time and look forward to next year! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

I LOVE pickles!

Such a Big Boy!

Jack is very good with his hands. He loves to lay on the floor and play with all his toys. A few weeks ago, he started to hold his bottle. When he see's his bottle, he'll open his mouth and reach for it. He can even grab it and put it in his mouth. It's so amazing to watch him grow and start doing things on his own. Two months ago, he didn't even know what a bottle was but now he knows exactly what to do with it. He continues to amaze us!

Face Painting with Carrots

Larry fed Jack dinner last night. As I walked past the kitchen, this is what I found....Larry said "it's face paint"!





Jack also slept completely through the night last night. He's been waking up around 5:30 am to eat and would sometimes wake up before that with a really wet diaper. Last night, we laid him down at 8:00 pm and he didn't wake up until 7:30 am this morning!! Very nice for us...I wonder if the face painting had anything to do with it?
