Where is....

I'm not sure where Jack learned this from, but when we ask him where something or someone is, he'll drop whatever he has in his hands, shrug his shoulders and throw his hands up. It cracks us up everytime!

Look who's ready for summer...

We had the sprinkler on in the backyard yesterday afternoon and Jack decided to run straight for it. Before we could say no, he was already wet and had the biggest smile on his face, so we let him play in it for awhile. I guess he's ready for summer too!!

Picnic

Larry and Jack took me on a picnic for Mother's Day. We went to our favorite park by the lake, ate lunch and fed the ducks. Jack loves the ducks! When a duck would get close, he would get so excited, run after them (but wouldn't get to close) and say "duct, duct". It was really cute! I had a fun, relaxing Mother's Day, thanks to my amazing husband and son!

Happy Mother's Day!

Below is a picture of the Mother's Day gift Jack made for me at school on Friday. I love it! The poem is really sweet and Jack's little hand prints are even sweeter. Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms!

Weekend with Mimi & Pops

This post is way overdue, but I had to scan the pictures and just got around to doing it. Jack stayed with Mimi and Pops (my parents) for 3 nights at the end of March. Our wonderful friends, Andy and Paige, got married in New Orleans and we were both in the wedding. The wedding was gorgeous and lots of fun! While we were away, Jack was staying very busy in Gonzales. He went fishing and caught his first fish, he rode Fred (his horse) and got to meet his adorable new cousin, Savanna Grace. Jack loves staying with Mimi and Pops and has no problem leaving us. When we dropped him off that Thursday, he was waving and saying "Bye Bye" as we were driving off. Here are some pictures of the fun stuff he did while he was there.

Look at the fish I caught!

I want to hold it!

Good Ole Fred!

Holding Savanna...she's so cute!
