We had a fun, busy weekend! The fun started on Friday, with a trip to Schlitterbahn in Galveston. We went with three of Jack's closest friends (Connor, Tyler and Cameron) and their moms. The boys loved all the rides and so did the moms! Jack loved the Dragon Blaster, the Pirate Ship and floating the lazy river. We both had a great time and can't wait to go back!
On Saturday, a friend of ours organized lunch and a visit to the new fire station on Grogans Mill Road. We had a big group of Jack's friends and parents. We all met for lunch at Zunum. The kids played on the indoor playground and decorated cookies, while the parents had a nice lunch catching up. After lunch, we headed to the fire station. We met all the firemen, took a tour of the fire house, sat on the firetrucks, met Relay, the fire dog and enjoyed an ice cream in front of the station. It was so much fun and all the kids loved it! Taylor had a great time as well. She couldn't take her eyes off of Relay and all the firemen!
