Santa, Birthday & Early Christmas

Santa Claus visited our neighborhood last weekend and Jack was so excited about seeing him, until he actually saw him.  He would not sit on his lap but did shake his hand and give him a high five.  Santa asked Jack what he wants for Christmas and Jack told him "a big airplane".  This is the first that I'm hearing about this so I hope Santa can find him a big airplane.

We had Christmas with The Furman Family on Sunday.  We all went to eat at the Waterway and then headed back to our house to open gifts.  It was also Larry's birthday so we had cake and sang happy birthday.

Polar Express & Our Little Musician

We had a very lazy day at home yesterday.  We stayed in our pj's all day, colored/painted, took pictures by the Christmas tree and watched Polar Express.  Jack loved Polar Express!  He did not move off the couch or say two words during the whole movie.  Jack started to get a little bored at the end of the day and decided to pull everything out of the kitchen drawers.  I was in the other room and heard him singing and banging on something metal.  He was hitting a candy cane cheese spreader on a cheese grater and was saying "I have to hit my bell, mommy".  Check out the video below....it's hilarious!

Thanksgiving (better late than never)

I am so late in posting about our wonderful Thanksgiving this year - better late than never.  For the first time, we had Thanksgiving dinner at our house with Larry's brother and sister-n-law.  We did a lot of cooking and for the first time, I made my Grandma Selzer's famous, yummy dressing (stuffing).  Everything turned out great and the dressing tasted and smelt just like my Grandma's (I couldn't believe it)!  We went to my parents house for Thanksgiving weekend.  Jack loves riding Peeto (Frito) and never wants to get off.  We had a great Thanksgiving this year!  We are so thankful for family, friends, our health and so much more!!
