Jack's school was closed on Friday and today, due to bad weather. Friday we didn't see much snow or ice, but today we did. There was snow on roofs, our picnic table, our play set and a little on the ground. I think it was more ice and sleet, but it still made a nice size snowball and a mini snowman.

Taylor - 15 Month Check-Up
We had Taylor's 15 month check-up this morning. The doctor checked her out from head to toe and she's doing great! Below are her stats.
- Weight - 19 lbs (10%)
- Height - 32 inches (85%)
Taylor is talking up a storm. She can say a few words but mostly talks her own language. Her favorite word to say is "da da" and she says it with such excitement! When she hears the door open, she runs to the door saying "da da". Larry loves it and it melts my heart!
Here are a few updated pictures of our Tay Tay. She's always so happy and when she's not, you will know it!

Merry Christmas!!
We had an amazing Christmas this year! We had Christmas with Uncle John and Aunt Tracy on Thursday night and then we headed to my parents on Sunday to open gifts on Monday. Jack and Taylor were spoiled with wonderful gifts! We came home on Christmas Eve to get ready for Santa. We made cookies and chocolate milk and we were all in bed early. Jack and Taylor were exhausted from the weekend so they had no problem going to bed early, plus they were both very excited for Santa to stop by.
The kids must have been good because Santa left lots of fun stuff. Jack loved everything, even Taylor's toys. Taylor loved her dolls and loves giving them hugs and kisses.
I only have pictures from Christmas morning (I completely forgot to pack my camera). Please excuse my shirtless child. He doesn't like sleeping with a shirt on and he was already elbow deep in his gifts before I could tell him to put one on.

He's Baaaack!
Leo (short for Leonardo) arrived at our house yesterday evening. The doorbell rang and Jack looked out the window and said "it's an elf, it's Leo"! He opened the door and Leo was holding a letter and was sitting on a little 2 foot Christmas tree. When we put our tree up, Jack asked if he could have his own tree in his room and even picked out a few of his favorite ornaments to put on it. Santa was listening and sent Leo with a small tree and Jack was one happy little boy!
Leo wrote Jack a nice letter reminding him of the rules and how he flies to the North Pole every night to give Santa a report, but Jack remembered it all. The first thing he said was "don't touch him". Jack is very excited to have Leo back!

Family Pictures
It's that time of year again, when we do our family/holiday pictures, and once again, we love them all! Maria Arcement with Two Cups of Kids Photography is ahh-mazing! Jack and Taylor did great on the day of the shoot. Jack was his normal silly, happy self and Taylor is quite the little poser.

Last Game
Jack had his last soccer game of the season on Saturday. At the end of the game, his coach handed out metals to all the players. Jack was so excited about his metal and wore it most of the day!
Jack really enjoyed playing soccer! He was always excited about practice and the games. His coach was wonderful and the boys loved him. He loved being on the same team with his best bud, Connor, and was excited to make a new friend (Jack Lucas). I'm pretty sure we will sign him up for the Spring season. I'm sad the season is over...we all really enjoyed it!

Halloween Fun!
We all had so much fun this Halloween! Jack's class at school had a Halloween party on Thursday. The kids made a fun dessert and a Frankenstein pencil holder. I love watching him interact with all his school friends! Later that evening we headed to The Milam's to continue the Halloween celebration. They had a great turn out and Jack was excited to spend Halloween with his best buddies! The kids played while the adults chatted and then we all went trick-or-treating in their neighborhood. We all had a great time!
This year Jack dressed up as Optimus Prime (Transformer) and Taylor was a Leopard Cat. Jack loved his costume and picked it out all by himself. We painted black whiskers and a nose on Taylor and that lasted about 5 minutes, but she was still the cutest little kitty.

Pumpkin Patch
We went to a small pumpkin patch by our house on Sunday. Jack loves the pumpkin patch. He runs around checking out all the pumpkins to find the perfect one for him and Taylor. Then Jack and Daddy picked out a big pumpkin to carve. Taylor enjoyed chewing on the stems and touching all the pumpkins. Jack insisted on wearing his cowboy hat and boots...he looked very handsome! Taylor wasn't feeling well and didn't want her picture taken.
Later that night, Jack and Daddy carved the pumpkin and we put it on the front porch. And after dinner, we made s'more's (one of Jack's favorite desserts).
