Baby #2 - 15 Weeks

Baby #2 is doing great!  I'm 15 weeks and feeling much better than I did 2 weeks ago.  At my doctor's appointment today, the baby's heartbeat is strong and beating fast and my belly is measuring right on track. We did the First Trimester Screening about 2 weeks ago and got to see our little one.  The baby was very active and was rolling around from side to side during the ultrasound.  The ultrasound tech was able to tell us the sex of the baby and we are very excited!!!  She did tell us not to go out and buy pink/blue stuff because its still earlier, so we've decided to wait until our 20 week appointment/ultrasound before we announce it to the world.  Here are a few pictures of Baby #2 at 13 weeks.

Meet Levi

We have been wanting a puppy for awhile now, but we were waiting until we found that special one that melted our hearts and was the perfect fit for our family, and we finally found him!!  Meet the newest Furman....Levi.  He is a 7 week old Blue Heeler (rescue pup) and is so sweet! Jack and him are best buddies.  Levi follows him around everywhere and they love playing together! Levi is a great fit for our family and we are so excited we found him!



Easter 2012

We had a great Easter!  Last Sunday, a few of Jack's friends from school got together for an Egg Hunt and all the kiddos had so much fun!  The Egg Hunt was at Tyler's house (Jack's best friend), who lives in our neighborhood (a few houses down from us).  They had a bouncy slide, games and good food! We spent Easter weekend at my parents.  We went fishing, dyed eggs and had a small egg hunt.  Jack woke up Easter Sunday and found his Easter basket filled with lots of fun toys and goodies from the Easter Bunny.  He was very excited!!

Big Brother Jack!

Jack is going to be a Big Brother!  He is very excited and is requesting a "baby girl sister".  Baby #2 is due on October 15, 2012.  This first trimester has been tough....I thought it's suppose to be easier the second time around.  I've been nausea, my taste buds are off, I don't have an appetite and nothing sounds good.  At my second doctor's appointment, I lost 3 pounds and my doctor instructed me to eat every 2-3 hours.  I'm starting to feel better and my appetite seems to be coming back so I'm hoping the second trimester is a lot better!

We are very excited for our new addition and can't wait to meet him or her!  Here's the first picture of Baby #2 at 7 weeks and 1 day and a picture of a very proud Big Brother.
