Jack is talking nonstop! He loves to look out the car window and tell us what he sees. If we don't answer him, he will continue to say it until one of us says something. He's started to put three to four words together and has even said complete sentences...I love you; There it is; I see you; Get out of the way (that's what Pop tells the chickens). He has also learned a few Spanish words and sounds so cute saying them. Here's a video of him at Christmas practicing his Spanish and being his silly self.

Christmas Eve & Day
Our second Christmas with our little man was so awesome! He had so much fun and we loved watching him! We spent Christmas Eve with my family in Gonzales and headed back to The Woodlands for Christmas morning with the three of us. We did a lot of driving but it was worth seeing the expressions on Jack's face and hearing him say "Wow" and "Oh nice" after opening a gift.

Christmas Cookies
I'm not a baker but I wanted to do something fun with Jack so we made snowflake sugar cookies. Jack enjoyed helping me and loved eating the sprinkles! The cookies didn't turn out too bad (I over cooked the first batch). We had lots of fun and maybe it will be a tradition we do every year and hopefully get better at!

Christmas #1...and Happy Birthday to Daddy!
Yesterday we went to Uncle John and Aunt Tracy's house for the Furman/Gonzalez Christmas. The whole family was there and we all had a wonderful time! Jack loved opening his gifts and got some really great stuff. Daddy's 33rd birthday was also yesterday so we celebrated with cake and ice cream....Happy Birtday, Dadeeee (as Jack would say)! Thanks again Uncle John and Aunt Tracy for having all of us over!!!
What could it be?

Santa...Round 2
The first time we took Jack to see Santa did not work out too well. He was so excited to see him and said "Ho Ho Ho" the whole way there, but as soon as he saw him he had a tight gip on Mimi's shoulder and was not letting go. He would not get close to him but had no problem taking the candy cane and running the other direction while saying "no, Ho Ho".
Santa visited our neighborhood park this morning so we decided to try again. This time we went with The Shipleys. Caden loved Santa and ran right up to him...Jack stayed back. When we were leaving Caden took Jack to meet Santa. He wouldn't sit on his lap but gave him a high five and stood there for about a minute. He was fine as long as Caden or Brooke were there!

What Not to Wear!
Jack wanted to go outside this morning but it was really cold. He continued to ask so I finally gave in and told him he had to put on a jacket and shoes. He went to his room, came back with his boots and green hoody and we put them on over his pj's. Check out his outfit! We were laughing and taking pictures and he thought he was so cute! I guess this is what we have to look forward to when he starts picking out his own clothes...can't wait!

Family/Christmas Pictures
It's that time of the year again when we do our annual Family/Christmas pictures. We used the same photographer as last year, Maria Arcement with Two Cups of Kids Photography, and she is amazing! I was nervous we wouldn't get one good picture, since it is impossible for Jack to stay still for two seconds (especially to take a picture) but they all turned out great! Jack is a little ham and Maria did a wonderful job capturing his silly, fun, loving personality. It's something we see and love everyday! Below are a few of our favorites (there are more then just a few....we had lots of favorites)!

Belated Thanksgiving
Our Thanksgiving festivities started the Friday before Thanksgivings with a Thanksgiving Feast at Jack's school. Parents were invited so Larry and I went and had lunch with our little guy. He was so excited to see us and it was fun visiting with the teachers, kids and other parents (I'm a bad mommy, I forgot my camera). That following Sunday, we had dinner with Larry's family and also celebrated Aunt Tracy's birthday. Jack had a blast playing with his cousins, eating good food and having cake and ice cream for desert. We even got him to say "Happy Bitday" to Aunt Tracy. We then headed to Gonzales on Wednesday for Thanksgiving with my family. Larry was in a wedding on Saturday so Jack stayed with my parents while Larry and I went back to Houston.
We are very thankful this year for our amazing little boy, wonderful family and friends and good health! We had a great Thanksgiving, ate way too much and are looking forward to the Christmas holidays...we LOVE this time of year!
Ready for the cold weather!
Happy Birthday Aunt Tracy!
I'm so full, I couldn't make it to the couch!
