At my 30 week appointment today, we had the 3D ultrasound. Baby Girl is right on track and everything looks great! We got to see all her little body parts. She was very active and at one point her toes were touching her head (she's practicing her high kicks or toe touch). She has big toes and feet (Jack had big feet too). We only saw the back of her head because she was facing towards my back. She weighs a little more then the 3 pounds and my doctor said she will most likely weigh around Jack's weight at birth (he weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz). Unfortunately, we did not get any pictures because the machines printer was broken.
We finally decided on the name Taylor and we love it! We haven't decided on a middle name but we have some good options and we're close to making a decision (I think). Jack already calls her Taylor and is being very sweet to her. When I leave and say good-bye, he always gives me a hug and kiss and then gives Taylor (my belly) a kiss....it's really cute! He also shares his food with her. He will put whatever he's eating up to my belly and says "here Taylor, are you hungry"? He's going to be a great Big Brother and we can't wait to meet our little girl!

Circus Fun!
Last Sunday, I took Jack to the Ringling Bros and Barnum Bailey Circus. Jack's best friend, Tyler, and his mom went with us. The boys had a lot of fun and they loved the pre-show activities and seeing the animals up close. We had a great time and the boys seemed to enjoy it, but started to get a little antsy half-way through the show, plus neither of them had a nap, so we decided to leave during intermission. When Jack and Tyler get together they would much rather run around and play like wild little boys love to do!

Mini Vacay to Galveston
We took a mini vacation to Galveston this past weekend. We were planning to go on Saturday, but with the weather we decided to go on Sunday and cram a lot of fun stuff into one day. The weather turned out great so we were very lucky. We spent most of the day at the beach....Jack loves the beach! We hung out at the pool for a while and then headed to Pleasure Pier. The pier was great and Jack enjoyed playing games and riding rides. It was a short vacation but very nice to get away and have a fun fulfilled day with our little man!

Spiderman (or Batman) Saves the Day!
Jack is really into superhero's and loves Batman, Spiderman and Captain America. He runs around the house in his cape or masks saving the day! The weather on Saturday was rainy so we were trying to find fun things to do inside so Jack started posing like Spiderman and Batman (with his Spiderman mask on) and being silly. I think we have a Spiderman or Batman in the making!

Update - Swim Lessons
Jack is still doing great in swim lessons! He loves to jump off the side and just learned to jump to the bottom of the pool and bounce back up....he is fearless! As promised, here are a few pictures of our little fish in the water.

New School & Swim Lessons
We have had a very busy but exciting week! Jack started at The Woodlands Young Learners Academy on Monday and is doing really good with the transition. We have wanted to get him into this school for awhile now, but there was a wait list and we didn't have the heart to take him away from his friends. A spot final opened up and we also found out two of his really good friends (Tyler and Marianna) were also moving....they all three started on the same day! So far, we are extremely happy with the school and teachers! We love that they are getting them ready for kindergarten by having them switch classes and teachers. They have a computer class, music class, a small gym for P.E., a science lab and a library. My favorite part is every Friday the kids get to check out a book from the library and bring it home. In the first week, Jack is learning to write and spell his name.
On Tuesday, Jack started swim lessons. The first day was rough but the program and instructors worked out all the kinks and the second day was much better (it's a long story). Jack is doing great and loves the water! With a few more classes he will be swimming like a fish! I haven't had a chance to take pictures. I was planning to take some yesterday but his class got cancelled due to the weather. I'll repost as soon as I get some pictures but I did post a cute picture of Jack and Levi.

It's official....
we're having a GIRL and we are all so very excited!!! I had my 20 week appointment/ultrasound this morning and baby girl is doing great. We got to see her open and close her mouth, kick her legs and swing her arms. Our doctor wasn't able to get the best pictures because she was so active and would not stay still. I started to feel her move about 2 weeks ago. It's a funny feeling but I love it! We haven't decided on a name yet but we have a few good options. Here are the pictures our doctor was able to get of our little wiggle worm.

Kayaking
We went to the park yesterday and Larry took Jack kayaking. He had so much fun and loved it! Larry got in the kayak first and Jack was right behind him saying, "let me in". He was so anxious, I thought he was about to jump in. Larry was so excited that he loved it so much and is looking forward to taking him on a kayaking trip...when he gets older.

Baby #2 - 15 Weeks
Baby #2 is doing great! I'm 15 weeks and feeling much better than I did 2 weeks ago. At my doctor's appointment today, the baby's heartbeat is strong and beating fast and my belly is measuring right on track. We did the First Trimester Screening about 2 weeks ago and got to see our little one. The baby was very active and was rolling around from side to side during the ultrasound. The ultrasound tech was able to tell us the sex of the baby and we are very excited!!! She did tell us not to go out and buy pink/blue stuff because its still earlier, so we've decided to wait until our 20 week appointment/ultrasound before we announce it to the world. Here are a few pictures of Baby #2 at 13 weeks.
