Jack loves the Cozy Coupe he got for Christmas! He loves going for a ride in it and playing in it. He also likes to push it, which is great practice for walking. Thanks Uncle Lynn!

Jack's First Christmas

Jack's first Christmas was amazing! He got so many wonderful presents from Santa, family and friends...we don't know where we're going to put everything! He loved opening his presents and got so excited over them. He would scream, kick his legs and move his arms up and down...it was so funny! He did very well opening them on his own. We would make a small tear and he would pretty much do the rest...I think he liked the sound of the wrapping paper. We've always loved Christmas but it's so much more special and fun with a little one! Here are lots of pictures of our first Christmas with our little guy. Daddy's Birthday

Yesterday was Larry's birthday. He opened his birthday gift and then we headed to The Woodlands Waterway for dinner. The Shipleys joined us for dinner and we had a great time! After dinner, we walked down to the waterway to look at all the pretty lights...the kids loved the lights! Larry had a great birthday and we look forward to celebrating many, many more!!

Santa, Party & PJ's

We took Jack to meet Santa Claus and got his picture taken with him. We didn't know how he would react but he did so good and never even cried! He was so amazed by Santa and wouldn't stop staring at him!



Last night we had Larry's company Christmas Party so mommy and daddy got dressed up and had a night out! Jack spent the night with Mimi and they had so much fun! Larry was a little under the weather but we had a great time and really enjoyed the party.

9 Month Check-Up

Jack had his 9 month check-up today. He is getting so big and is becoming "Mr. Independent"! He rarely wants to be held anymore, which makes mommy very sad. He is getting into everything! I know I have said this 100 times but this age is so much fun! He is the happiest baby, full of energy and is so much fun to be around...he brings so much joy to our lives! Below are his stats at 9 months, new and fun stuff he's been doing and some updated pictures.

• Weight - 17 lbs, 15 oz (10-25%)
• Height - 29 inches (75%)
• Pulls up on EVERYTHING!
• Takes steps while holding on to the couch or our hands
• Loves to be outside or to look out the window
• Always chasing after the dogs and getting in their bowls
• Very good eater...loves turkey, cheese and cooked carrots
• Loves to bounce up and down while standing up
• Started saying mamama, also says dadada, bababa and gagaga
• Loves taking a bath...gets upset when bath time is over
• Favorite book is "Clara Cow Wraps Up Warm"
• Gives big sloppy kisses (with his mouth wide open)!
• Can wave bye bye and gets so excited when he does it!

9 Month Picture

Thanksgiving & Early Christmas

We had a great Thanksgiving and ate way too much! We spent Thanksgiving day with Larry's family and had Thanksgiving with my family on Friday. We also celebrated Christmas early with my mom's side of the family on Saturday. Jack loved playing with all his cousins, eating turkey and dressing and opening all his fun presents, eventhough he was more interested in the pretty bows on the presents! Our first Thanksgiving with Jack was wonderful and we're looking forward to Christmas...we love the holiday season!!!

Family Pictures

We had professional pictures taken this past weekend and they turned out great! Our photographer, Maria Arcement of Two Cups of Kids Photography, was AMAZING and did a wonderful job!!! Jack's Baptism

Jack was baptised today. It was such a special day and we are so blessed to have our wonderful family and friends there to support us! Jack wasn't very cooperative taking pictures...it was way past his naptime and he was so tired. He crashed on our way home and slept through the first hour of his party. We had a great time and everyone there made his day so special!

8 Months

Jack turned 8 months old yesterday! This age is a lot of fun and he is keeping us very busy! He loves being able to crawl and will sneak off by himself, which makes Mommy very nervous. He is very curious and wants to touch, grab and pull up on everything. We've started him on finger/table food and he loves it and so do we! He laughs all the time and is making different sounds everyday. His new favorite sound is da da da da...he says it all day long, especially when he sees his Daddy! But, his favorite thing to do is to give us five...it's too cute!! Here are a few pictures of our little man at 8 months.

Feeding the Ducks

We took Jack to feed the ducks at a pond near our house. We couldn't believe all the ducks...all different colors and sizes. Jack really got a kick out of them! At one point, he somehow grabbed a peice of bread, out of the bag Larry was holding, and started eating it. Since the ducks were eating it, I guess he thought that's what he should do too.
