Jack turned 20 months old today! He has grown up so much and has become a fun, loving, smart, mischievous little boy! He mimics everything we say and do. All it takes is for us to say something once and he will repeat it and continues to say it. He is very independent and wants to do everything on his own. His favorite movie is still Finding Nemo. He watches it at least once a day and will now sit through the entire movie. I recently put Jack's potty out and explained how to use it. I haven't even begun the training process and he doesn't seem interested but I want him to start getting curious about the potty. Jack loves school! He walks into the front door and goes straight to his classroom. He's started to spend a few hours a day in the Early Preschool Class before they move him in there permanently. They usually don't start the transition process until right before turning 2, but his teacher feels he is ready now. She said he talks more, interacts and understands things better then the other kids close to his age (and he's the youngest of the group). I can't believe our little guy is 20 months old and will be 2 years old in 4 months!! Below are two funny stories and some recent pictures.
Funny Stories....
- Our little dog Bella can be very yappy at times and we tell her to "hush". Well, now when we tell Jack no or something he doesn't want to hear he tells us "hush". We still have the hardest time not laughing!
- The other night after Jack's bath, he was running around the house naked (of course). He came into the kitchen and said "mommy, pee pee" and started walking. As I was following him, I was thinking to myself, this potty training thing is so easy and that he wants to go pee pee in the potty. He passed up the bathroom, went to his room and pointed to a wet spot on the floor and said "pee pee". Yep, he pee pee'd on the carpet in his room. At least he told me!
On the move with his wagon!
This is fun!!
Batter up!
Showing off his cool shoes (that's what he calls them)!
