Jack's First Words

Jack said his first words and they are Mom and Momma...I'm very excited! Lately, he's been trying to repeat some of the things we say but misses a few letters. For instance, we'll say Bye Bye and he'll say Ba Ba and wave. Even though he doesn't understand the words, his babbling and jabber is starting to sound more like real words. While I was at a work function last week, Larry texted me a voice recording of Jack saying Mom and Momma over and over...it made my night! I couldn't get the voice recording to upload to the blog so here's a video of him saying his first words and being very silly.

Curious Jack

Jack is very curious and getting into everything! We turn our heads for a few seconds and he's always getting into something. He's very quick and we have to keep a close eye on him! Here are a few funny pictures of what he's been getting into.

He pulled himself up into the refrigerator.


He loves to pull up on the fireplace and pull down the basket we have sitting on the ledge. Poor Jack...I couldn't resist taking a picture!


He loves playing in the dog's water bowl. We usually catch him before he dumps it over, but this time he beat us to it and water was everywhere...the floor and his pj's were soaking wet.
