Jack's 5th Birthday!!!

I can not believe I'm writing this post, but Jack turned 5 yesterday!  He has been very excited about turning 5 and getting older and bigger.

His birthday week didn't start off too well.  Last Sunday, Jack woke up with a stomach virus and it was not fun!  He stayed home from school on Monday and felt much better that afternoon.  We had his birthday party on Saturday at Pump It Up.  Jack wanted an Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee Transformers party.  We had around 22 kids there and all the decorations, party favors, cupcakes and cookies turned out great!  Jack had a great time and loved celebrating with all his friends!

Jack had so much fun on Saturday that he slept in until 9:00 am on Sunday (his actual birthday).  When he finally decided to wake up, he had presents and a chocolate covered donut with sprinkles waiting for him.  We put a candle in the donut and sang Happy Birthday....he loved it!

I still can't believe Jack is 5!  Where does time go?  Jack is so sweet, very smart, stubborn and a loving "Big" boy (now that he's 5, he won't let me call him a little boy anymore)!  He has a funny personality and loves to make people laugh.  He loves Taylor so much and is always watching over her.  He's always having a good time and loves hanging out with his friends.  We look forward to watching him grow and celebrating many more birthdays!
