Jack is loving karate! He earned his headband in class on Thursday and was so excited (now he really looks like Karate Kid)! Since his first class, three more of Jack's friends (Tyler, Cameron and Talin) have enrolled and are in his class. Its so much fun to watch these wild little boys interact and get a long so well. Jack is enjoying it so much that we decided to sign him up for 35 sessions, which will last until the end of the year.
Little Miss Taylor is growing up too fast...she turned 7 months last week! She's sitting up all by herself and is loving it! Her first tooth came in last week (in front, on the bottom) and her second (right next to her first tooth) just broke through her gums. She has been fighting a nasty virus for over a week now. Last week, her fever was running between 102-104. It finally broke over the weekend and she started to feel much better and is getting better everyday.

Jack's 2013 School Picture
Jack had his school pictures a few weeks ago. The picture turned out great, except that his hair is a little messy from playing outside. He has a huge smile on his face and we love it! His class also took a group picture with his teachers.

Mother's Day
I had a great Mother's Day! I was spoiled with breakfast in bed, wonderful gifts and a nice relaxing day. Jack made me two amazing handmade gifts and a card at school. He was so excited about giving them to me that he was telling me all about them for a week now. I'm one lucky mommy!!

Karate Kid
Jack loves TMNT, Power Rangers and runs around the house karate chopping the dogs and Taylor so we decided to sign him up for karate. His good friend from school, Connor, is taking it with him and they were both so excited! We actually went to college with Connor's mom and dad (what a small world). Yesterday was their first class and they loved it! Jack learned a few moves and learned what to do if a stranger comes up behind him. They both earned their white belt after class and a report card with "awesome" in every category. Jack is looking forward to his next class and wearing his uniform....he wanted to sleep in it last night!

Easter 2013
We had a great Easter with family and friends! Our Easter started last weekend at my parents house in Gonzales. Jack loves going to my parents house! We went fishing, rode around in the mule, checked for pigs with Pop and so much more. He turns into a little country boy! Jack had an egg hunt and ice cream party at school on Thursday. He had a blast and got lots of eggs! We spent the Easter weekend at home, just the four of us. On Saturday, we went to Tyler's house (Jack's friend/our neighbor) for an egg hunt and we all had a great time! The kids played, there were games and prizes for the kids and the parents enjoyed talking and watching the kids run around. Sunday morning we woke up and the Easter Bunny stopped by our house....Jack was very excited! Taylor also had a great first Easter! She enjoyed watching her big brother!

Jack's 4th Birthday!!
Jack had a great 4th birthday (I can't believe he is already 4)!! He didn't start off his birthday weekend very good but it ended great! Jack was sent home from school on Thursday with a 102 fever. He was still running a slight fever on Friday but seemed to be better on Saturday and was ready to party. Jack wanted a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party and we mostly invited friends from his school. We had his party at WonderWild and the kids loved it!! It's an indoor play ground with a bubble trampoline, bounce house, huge slide and obstacle course. We had 24 kids show up, which was more then I expected (and the party room was small) so Mommy was a little stressed, but it all worked out.
I still can't believe we have a 4 year old! Jack is an amazing little boy with a HUGE imagination and loves to make people laugh! We love you very much Jack Michael and look forward to many more birthdays!!

The Big Game
Jack loves playing and watching movies on the iPad or as he calls it "the big game". He has become a pro at Angry Birds and has completed most of the levels. He also likes to watch movies on it through Netflix. It's amazing how well he can maneuver through it....he knows it better then me and Larry! We also practice writing letters, numbers, patterns and other school related activities. He likes playing games on the laptop/computer and is learning a lot from his computer class at school but he would much rather be on the iPad. Here's a cute picture of him and Taylor watching a movie....she's starting early!

Taylor - 4 Month Check-Up
Taylor turned 4 months on the 16th and had her check-up on Tuesday. She did great with her shots and our pedi said she's looks great! Taylor has been sick for the past week and was put on breathing treatments. When she was sick, she was not her happy, giggly self but now she's feeling much better. She did have fluid in her left ear at her check-up so our pedi decided to put her on an antibiotic. We also started her on rice cereal. At first, she wasn't a big fan of it. Everytime we gave her a bite, she would shake and spit it out, but now she's seems to like it. Below are her stats and a few updated pictures.
- Weight - 12 lbs. (10%)
- Height - 23.5 (20%)
