What's this?

One of Jack's favorite books is First 100 Words. He loves to look through the book and play a game we call "What's this?".  How do you play....well, I point to a picture and ask him "what's this?", and he will say what it is.  Sometimes, he will point to a picture and ask me, "what's this?".  We play this game a lot and he knows almost every picture in the book. Old MacDonalds Farm

We went to Old MacDonalds Farm in Humble this morning. Jack's friends, Olivia and Audrey (and their parents), met us there and we all had so much fun! We walked around and looked at all the farm animals. We even got to pet and feed a few of them. The kids ran around in the pumpkin patch, played on the huge playground and rode the train (which was Jack's favorite part)! He was so excited about the train he kept saying "ride, ride" and "choo choo". The weather was perfect and the kids (and parents) really enjoyed it! 




 





 











Bike Ride!

We recently purchased a child seat that attaches to the front of our bikes. We love going on bike rides and now that we have this seat for Jack, we can all go together. Jack loves the seat and has a great view but most of all he loves wearing his helmet. He wants to put it on everytime he sees it! The seat is attached to Larry's bike (I'm still not comfortable putting it on mine). We've definfitely been going on more bike rides and got it just in time for the great weather we've been having!
